Hi, I’m Hajar Roslen, the founder of EcosGuide.

Every morning driving to work in Melaka, I’d pass plastic waste on the roadside and rivers carrying more than just water. It unsettled me. I kept asking myself what I could actually do about it.

That question led me to my own kitchen. I realised that the cleaning products most of us use every day are full of harsh chemicals that wash straight down our drains and into the same waterways I was already worried about.

So I decided to start there.

And that’s when something clicked. Switching to eco-friendly kitchen cleaning products wasn’t just good for the planet. It meant cleaner, safer surfaces for my family too. Better cleaning and less harm to the environment, at the same time.

That felt like a change worth making.
